Default Toddler's way of telling us they are upset - what does your kid do?

So, how do your kids let you know when they are upset?

Boo is 3 years, 2 months. at home, he uses "I want a nummy
nap right NOW!". in the car (where i'm usually driving) he
asks for it to be "nice & quiet". no talking. no radio/CD.
if he gets the nummy nap or the quiet he won't have a melt-
down.

he uses the rocking chair at preschool when he gets upset
there, so he's finally getting some coping skills.
