Because their view is supported by science. The view of the people

You mean their view is supported by "science" like all pharmaceutical drugs.

Yeah. Science. You sound like that is a bad thing. Provide the science
that says that vitamin C should be approved because the vitamin C
therapy is effective.

Pharmaceutical drugs have to be shown to be safe and effective before
they can be sold. That's not true of conjecture-based medicine (aka,
con-med and alternative medicine).
