Default Is Quercetin safe during pregnancy?.nasal congestion

All this talk about nasal congestion reminded me of a remedy that works as
well as sudafed for me. I am going to do some reading on it.....Quercetin
taken as directed on the label, usually 1-2 times per day works very well
for nasal congestion. I used to use it instead of anything containing
sudafed. This is a supplement found in health food stores and I am not
exactly sure what it is- I think it is an anti-oxidant, or an enzyme.

I am NOT going to take this-- I don't take any vitamins or supplements
without running them by my OB, and in general, the OBs do not recommend
taking anything other than a prenatal vitamin, magnesium for constipation,
and Vitamin B6 for nausea., because my OBs do not keep up with vitamins and
supplements...I doubt any studies have been done on Quercetin but just
thought I would ask...........it is very effective and side effect-free when
you are not pregnant....
