I got the impression that it *was* on the calendar for this year, but a lot of
parents had been *assuming* that the Monday after Thanksgiving would be a
holiday, the way it was last year. Hence the reminder. But given the thread
title (DUH! Helen slaps forehead), your interpretation makes more sense.
