Except for the fact the article is probably entirely wrong.

Poul Thorsen MD Phd, a scientist at the Unversity research unit originally
hired by the CDC and Prevention to prepare a series of studies, to rule out
any link with the preservative thimerosal in vaccines, the MMR and autism
has disappeared

Thorsen has not vanished, is not missing, and was on a DSM5 workgroup
as of January this year,

and is being
investigated by the Danish police for fraud which puts the results of the
studies in doubt.

What is being investigated (since early last year) is

"Several media today report a case of possible forgery in connection
with a research project involving both the University of Aarhus,
Odense University Hospital, Research and Innovation Agency, and the
American health authority, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

The case was transferred to the East Jutland Police in May, 2009.
Details will be released when the police are ready.

The matter is related to an international study of pregnant women’s
lifestyle and its influence on a child’s brain function. It is still
unknown who is behind the possible forgery, and no criminal charges
have been brought."

Now the results of that study have just been published

"Kesmodel et al., “Lifestyle during pregnancy: neurodevelopmental
effects at 5 years of age. The design and implementation of a
prospective follow-up study,” Scand J Public Health. 2010
Mar;38(2):208-19. Epub 2010 Jan 11. PMID: 20064917 [PubMed – in
process]" Why would Dr. Kesmodel and the other co-authors from Aarhus
have included Dr. Thorsen as an author on this paper if Aarhus were
accusing him of wrongdoing in connection with this project?

"In a statement Aarhas University officials said that they believe Thorsen
forged documents supposedly from the CDC to obtain $2 Million from the
University.

No they didn't.

The Copenhagen Post online reported that the scientist has possibly
committed fraud to the value of 10 million kroner against several of the
Universities research partners.

Actually it said _a_ person, it named no one.

Professionals around the world have believed for years that thimerosal, the
preservative added to vaccines in the 1930's by Eli Lilly, is the key to
autism in children.

Rubbish.

She wrote:-

"Law firms handling claims against manufacturers on the basis that autism
has been caused by mercury and in particular thimerosal in vaccine".

She then listed firms dealing with claims.

Her book was written in 2000/2001

The case collapsed in 2003 as no evidence to support it could be
produced by the claimants.

The Daily Mail
reported that in Chichester West Sussex England UK a dog was showing signs
of autism after he had his vaccines.

Accusing the Daily Wail of either accuracy or scientific knowledge is
going rather far even by the execrable standards of accuracy found on
whale.
