Default I'm bigger than I should be!

Just got back from the doctor (14 week check up). I asked him about
the size of my uterus, as I feel really big, and he said if he
didn't know any better, he'd say I was 16 weeks along! We have
ruled out twins, so it's not that. Has anyone else had this
situation? Did you stay bigger than normal for the whole pregnancy?

Heh, I wouldn't worry about it a bit. Guesstimating the gestational age of a
pregnancy by palpation isn't very accurate and the difference between a
14-week and a 16-week uterus isn't much (a couple of centimeters at the
most). If you were at the stage where a fundal height measurement was being
taken, you'd still have a perfectly "normal" measurement, since the
measurement is equal to the weeks of gestation in centimeters +/- 2=3 cm.
So, you may be slightly bigger than "average" but you're really not bigger
than you "should be".
