it shed again yesterday & is even bluer. and it's broken
antenna is back to full length again. they really are
facinating critters.


So do they turn the color of whatever they live in/around?


i used to have little red brackish water crabs back when i
had a 'tropical' tank with mollies. they were cute but kept
climbing out of the tank & becoming cat snacks. at least the
crayfish stays in the tank

to some extent... i'm tempted to get some different gravel
colors & see what i can get it to change to. it apparently has
red/blue/yellow cells (that's not the word i want, but my
brain is dead today. Boo wasn't sleeping last night so neither
was i). i wonder if anyone has done research on this yet...
