POLL: What's on everyone's holiday list this year?
"enigma" wrote in message . .. "Sophie" wrote in : "enigma" wrote in message . .. it's actually kind of interesting in it's tiny lobster way although it likes to eat the goldfish. Tom caught it in our pond (we have lots of them in there) & brought it in. How neat it shed again yesterday & is even bluer. and it's broken antenna is back to full length again. they really are facinating critters. So do they turn the color of whatever they live in/around? i used to have little red brackish water crabs back when i had a 'tropical' tank with mollies. they were cute but kept climbing out of the tank & becoming cat snacks. at least the crayfish stays in the tank lee Lol. |

@corp.supernews.com: So do they turn the color of whatever they live in/around? to some extent... i'm tempted to get some different gravel colors & see what i can get it to change to. it apparently has red/blue/yellow cells (that's not the word i want, but my brain is dead today. Boo wasn't sleeping last night so neither was i). i wonder if anyone has done research on this yet... lee |
