Ideas for activities (13 month old)

#1 and #2 are doing all day (10am to 3pm) ballet school. #2 is thrilled
because she thinks she is really "big" doing it. It's meant for from age 5yo
but the teacher said she'd take her too.
#1's pleased because she's just been told she got a merit in her ballet
exam. I don't really know what that equates to, but she's pleased :-)
And #3, being only 13 months, is having a good sleep. I was going to take
him swimming during the day, but yesterday I found he's got a double ear
infection so that's out. It's pouring with rain (these English summers!) and
I'm wondering if anyone's got any different sort of suggestions for things a
little boy would like to do, that take about an hour. He's not walking yet,
so he's not too into the park, and he eats playdough! His favourite activity
at the moment consists of removing books from the bookshelves with glad
cries of "book" (or rather "boof") at each one, so I'm trying to take him
out. (alternatively I could just leave our books in the pile on the floor
and save him a job)

He does make me laugh though. He's got a mischievous sense of humour. Coming
back today from dropping the girls off I said as I got out of the car "I
hope you're not asleep". Came round to his door and there he was, eyes
closed, head turned to the side as he does when he's asleep. I said "oh no"
thinking he wouldn't go back to sleep if he'd just slept, at which point he
opened his eyes, shouted "boo!" then clapped his hands and laughed. When I
said "don't go to sleep" he did it again.
I now need to teach him to go to sleep on demand...

That is seriously one of the cutest things I've ever read about

Would he like a stroller ride or to just hang out on a blanket in the
park or something?
