Babies and birth: A critical thinking learning opportunity...
BABIES AND BIRTH: A CRITICAL THINKING LEARNING OPPORTUNITY...
Prof. Jenny Jamison, a medical doctor who trains chiropractors has been silent so far about obvious crimes committed by her fellow medical doctors... Will MURDOCH UNIVERSITY academics and staff (emails listed at the URL below) help spread the word and stop the obstetric crime? PREGNANT WOMEN: By using semisitting and dorsal delivery, obstetricians are senselessly closing birth canals up to 30%. Obstetricians are senselessly KEEPING birth canals closed the "extra" up to 30% - keeping women semisitting and dorsal - when babies get stuck. IT'S A MASSIVE SPINAL MANIPULATION CRIME... With birth canals senselessly closed the "extra" up to 30%, obstetricians are pulling on babies' spines with hands forceps and vacuums - sometimes pulling so hard they rip spinal nerves out of tiny spinal cords. Some babies die - some get paralyzed - most "only" have their spines gruesomely wrenched. LADIES: It is easy to allow your birth canal to OPEN the "extra" up to 30%. (You can do it just by rolling onto your side as you push your baby out.) Women should not have to ASK for the "extra" up to 30% for their babies. Most women don't KNOW to ask. Hence... A CRITICAL THINKING LEARNING OPPORTUNITY... OPEN LETTER (archived for global access; search at http://groups.google.com) Prof Jenny Jamison MBBCh, PhD, EdD. FACNEM, FICC(h) Division of Health Sciences Murdoch University School of Chiropractic Perth, Western Australia 6849 Australia. Also via email addresses listed at... http://www.healthsciences.murdoch.edu.au/dirs/alpha.edo Jenny, You are apparently worried about chiropractic students "interfacing with an increasingly evidence based health care system." [Chiropr Osteopat. 2005 Sep 8;13(1):19 [Epub ahead of print] PubMed abstract] Please inform Murdoch University chiropractic students that the "increasingly evidence based health care system" here in the US is paying billions per year for anti-scientific MD behaviors like mass adult vagina (and abdomen) slicing with birth canals senselessly closed up to 30%. ANOTHER OBSTETRIC CRIME... Perhaps the MOST bizarre anti-scientific American MD behavior is routine asphyxiation of babies (immediate cord clamping) which forces babies to breathe through their lungs before they are ready and robs them of up to 50% of their blood volume. This is happening to EVERY CESAREAN BABY and in many "cord blood banking" vaginal births - according to retired obstetrician George Malcolm Morley, MB ChB FACOG. Instead of reporting the obvious child abuse, Dr. Morley recommends a bizarre TEMPORARY baby asphyxiation experiment to help obstetricians demonstrate to themselves that they shouldn't permanently asphyxiate/deny babies umbilical cord oxygen and rob them of massive amounts of blood: "[T]he umbilical cord [is] immediately closed between finger and thumb...The [fetal heart rate/FHR] will decelerate quickly to about 60 bpm...the color will change from purple-pink (normal at birth) to pallid blue (vaso-constriction and asphyxia.)...Few midwives or obstetricians will be able to observe, without interference, a deep, prolonged FHR deceleration on a non-breathing newborn for a period of 60 seconds.* Common sense will soon release the finger and thumb." http://www.cordclamping.com/acog-cp.htm See also: "OB surgical crime: Chiro karma runs over MD dogma..." http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group...t/message/3887 I am pretty sure the same bizarre medical behaviors are being paid for by the Australian health care system. Jenny, you wrote: "This paper describes a unit which prepares chiropractic students for the role of 'wellness coaches'...It is hoped inclusion of critical thinking learning opportunities in the undergraduate chiropractic curriculum will contribute to the development of an evidence based ethos in chiropractic care." The obstetric spinal manipulation crime is perhaps most relevant to chiropractic students given chiropractic's traditional focus on the spine. Please inform "wellness coach" chiropractic students (as they take advantage of "critical thinking learning opportunities" and develop their "evidence based ethos") that they have a golden opportunity to speak out to save tiny lives and tiny limbs and PREVENT more vertebral subluxations than they will ever be able to adjust by hand. There is NO need for obstetricians to be keeping birth canals closed the "extra" up to 30% as they manipulate babies' spines with hands, forceps or vacuums. Dr. DD Palmer, Founder of Chiropractic, said, "Chiropractic came as an educator." Chiropractic students can be "wellness coaches" for the tiniest chiropractic patients without touching a single spine. Sincerely, Todd Dr. Gastaldo Hillsboro, Oregon USA * This Open Letter to Prof. Jenny Jamison will be archived for global access in the Google usenet archive.
