MY SON IS TURNING 18 IN OCTOBER 2004 AND...........
My Child Support order is thru the state of Maryland where my son and
his mother has lived since 1989. I live and work in NY and payments have been coming out of my check all these years. What is the final age for Child Support in Maryland? Is it 18 or 21? IF its 18 in Maryland and I'm in NY, how do I go about ending it when he turns 18? (Praying its 18). Thanks for answers in advance!

File a motion with the courts where the CS order was rendered, requesting that it be terminated on his 18th birthday. What's the worst that happens, they tell you that the age is 21? So you ask that the motion be amended to get a court order ending the CS on his 21st birthday. You will never get the CS stopped without filing a motion to end it though - it doesn't stop automatically.
