Default CTTS: Naming my breasts!

I told DH the same thing. We ask her (she's nearly a year) if she wants milk
or if she wants to nurse, but never use any word that we wouldn't want
screamed in public. Although she doesn't actually say words yet (she babbles
a lot but 'da' is any noun and 'eh' means I want something) I'm sure she'll
pick on the things we don't want her to if we're not careful.

Allyson and I have had several conversations regarding her *never*
saying "boobie" in front of Caterpillar, because it's not going to be
her going through Walmart dragging a baby who's screaming that word.

Don't encourage any words for nursing you wouldn't like to hear spoken
in the checkout line or any other public situation. "Mommy, want
booba," leaves nothing to the imagination in the minds of nearby
listeners. Believe me, it will happen!

It sure will. I always asked Stephen if he wanted to nurse, but DH thought
that "boobies" was funnier. Funnier for him, maybe, but a little mortifying
for me in the stores when my 2-year-old was screaming for boobies...
