Subject: need a 4-5 year old for my child development homework!

BTW I know
you can help me figure out spell check when I am posting to the

group,please,
please please!!!!!!! Pretty please! Bev

You're using AOL's browser, aren't you? If so, I have no idea how to
spell check.
http://www.aol.com/help.adp (check with a techie there)

If it's outlook express, then there's an ABC checkmark button on the top
menu.

Wish I knew everything but... you know. Human.

hmmmmm now you went and confused me Yes we are using one of them freebies
from AOL.......but we plan on switching to MSN probably cause they give you a
twofer deal with the web t.v., yeah I know , my oldest called me lame.......she
started out on a web t.v. and now since she is all "college" heh , and the
computer is a major tool she uses in computer animation (duh) ! LOL! Web t.v.
is now pathetic to her? Anyway.........I was thinking if I screw up the
computer I will still have a lifeline
Outlook Express ? is that something like Internet Explorer? cause we have that
one on this thing , but **** if I know what the heck to do to use it , I
thought I was "All that" that I could manage to get my groups set up and
actually save em and be able to find em and use em ! I never wanted to be
bothered with computers all my life I'd say "thats o.k." I know I have a lot to
learn , kinda having fun with it, gonna go get us a scanner printer set up then
I can send pictures of Jaime ! So strange is that Gayles death has pushed me to
learn this kind of stuff. Sole reason I originally came on line 3 years ago on
that web t.v....... kinda sentimental about it, spent day in, day out,
sometimes... heh a lot of times , all day, with that certain special someone
that carried me through, thanks Bev

Yes, that's right.. 45 years old and I need help with my homework from a
4 or 5 year old.

I have two assignments, real simple. I need a child to answer the
following questions:

1) Tell what happens when:

... you eat breakfast

I don't know

....you go to school (or preschool or daycare)

I play

....you go to a restaurant

eat food

....you get sick with the flu

my belly hurts... and get sniffles

.... you go to a birthday party

get cake and eat food and open presents

(it's to compare the scipts that children create of situations with a
child who is a little older. I've already solicited a 6 year old for
that part)

The second part is "Observing Egocentrism".... normally present in
pre-schoolers. The child is to answer:

1) Why does the sun shine?

because its daylight outside

2) Why are balls round?

because they are shiny

3) Why does the wind blow?

because its windy outside

4) Why is there snow?

because you want to go sledding

5) Close your eyes. Can you see me?

no

Do you think I can see you?

yeah

6) Do you have a best friend?

yeah
What is your best friend's name?

Izia, Elijua, Andrew
Does ______ (the child's best friend) have a friend?

no, just only me
Who?

Me

If you can help, thank you!

'Kate

This is the response of my niece, Jasmine, who is 4 years old. Hope it
helps. I will note, by the third question, she was ready to go play. lol
