Baby's movements painful!
"Alicia Elliott" wrote in message
. ca... Just thought I'd post about this, see if anyone else has experienced it, whether or not it is just standard. This evening in particular I've been feeling baby moving very very low in my pelvis, and each time it moves, there is a sharp pain! I have had sharp kicks to my ribs and such, but never down so low. Does this mean that the baby is engaging? Is it normal for it to hurt so much? It almost feels like it is banging its fists against my cervix. OW! Please let me know what's going on if you have experienced this. Many thanks, Alicia (36w 2d) Hi Alicia! I had this for about the last 3 weeks or so of my pregnancy. Quite common I think and not very much fun at all. I don't think it necessarily means the baby is engaging as I felt the pains but Madeline was still fairly high up when I went into labour. Hang in there, not too much longer to go! Hopefully your baby comes on time because once that due date comes and goes the days drag on! Nadene |

When I stand up, it's ow ow ow ow. Though I'm sort of getting used to it now. Not that it hurts less, just that I'm getting used to it. --angela (36w 6d) |

Baby is really low for me, so this has been happending for a while. I am only 30 weeks. ANd maybe baby IS banging fists on your cervix! S |
