Default CT: DCF must notify family of abuse while in custody

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AFRA_N...k/message/2120

DESCRIPTORS; JUVENILE COURT, CONNECTICUT, FAMILY LAW, CHILD ABUSE, CHILD
NEGLECT, DELINQUENCY

Many groups operate within Connecticut to reform DCF and its treatment of
children and families, both within and out of DCF's legal custody.

Hat's off to Connecticut! I suspect you will vote for an increase in
your taxes that will fund underfunded CPS and DCF systems, allow systems
to hire adequately trained and educated caseworkers, decrease caseload
numbers, and therefore allow for a better system.

Lavonne, this is a question at the intersection of CPS and Juvenile criminal
justice system.

I know you remember my postings about children being remanded to Adult Court.

Examine the numbers of teens within your state who are tried under adult laws.

DCF CT did NOT EXAMINE HORRIBLE ALLEGATIONS OF INHUMANE PUNISHMENT TO CHILDREN,
PLACED WITHIN THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM.

It is not a matter of funding, but one of attention to children incarcerated.

Lavonne, PLEASE, uncover another come back. You're becoming tedious:
