Cribs
I have also read that they do better sleeping together. But they were not
kept together in the NICU. But when they came home I put a pack n play next to our bed. It has the full bottom that raises up for a bassinet. All three of my children slept in it until they got too big for all three in it. Now they all sleep in a play pen downstairs, and one crib upstairs. They are 3 months old. I believe they will continue this way until they get too big, or they start bothering each other. However, my children don't seem to mind the change if I have one of them sleeping by themselves. Gayle "ipacchi" wrote in message ... Hello everyone. Tara and I (Craig) are having twin girls in the beginning of march. We are in the process of looking at cribs, basinets etc. I have read some articles recently that suggest that twins are happier and healthier if they sleep together. Can any of you share your experiences in this matter and weather you think we should get one crib, two cribs or maybe (though we have not really seen any from major crib manufacturers) twin cribs? Thanks for your help. Tara and Craig |

Cribs
My two have always slept in separate cribs, except for the rare
occasion when they slept at nana's house. I'm glad we did, because once they got to be 3-4 months and started moving around, there would always be a foot in someone's face - or a bum! They have never had any trouble sleeping apart. If you do get them at BRU make sure you ask for the discount - they won't ask you if you want it! My boys are almost two and I'm planning on keeping them in the cribs for as long as possible - is 18 years too long? . We bought the cribs that convert to a toddler/day bed, and then a full size bed, so we never have to buy furniture for them again - which I think is a pretty big cost savings! Good luck with the babies! Enjoy every minute of them - it goes way to fast. Kim mom to Ronan & Xander 2/26/02. "ipacchi" wrote in message ... Hello everyone.
