Still here. False alarm this morning: five uncomfortable contractions
regularly spaced at 15 minute intervals. Then the contractions slowed
way, way down, but *then* I had a little leak of fluid which I swear
was not urine.

I called the midwife, who said that it can be hard to tell with a
small leak whether it's amniotic fluid or not, but that it doesn't
matter too much because the "infection clock" doesn't start ticking
until I've had an internal exam. So she wants me to wait and see if I
leak more fluid when I have contractions. Except that now the
contractions have stopped.

It's a little hard, feeling like I don't know what the hell's going
on. But I figure that, eventually, if I'm in labor I *will* know about
it. It's not like I could stay in this indeterminate state forever.

Since I was induced with DS (a full 2 weeks after due date with no
symptoms) I'm kind of in the same boat of not quite knowing what to
expect even though I have had a child before. I'm reading things into
every little twinge I feel or symptom I have. It's very fustrating.

Sending out labour vibes to you...but keeping a few for myself.
