Default Furnace Filters

Hi there,

Just visiting your group for the first time, but I thought someone
might have a tip on where we can get decent furnace filters at a good
price. My son seems to be very sensitive to dust in the air, so I
thought I'd upgrade the filter I have in my forced-air furnace. It
uses filters that are 24" x 14" x 1" just to give you an idea what I
am talking about.

Thanks.

Ed

There is also an hvac group, but I hear it's a low noise to signal ratio.

We use Filtrete. I read about them in Consumer Reports. They are supposed
to turn the central heating and air into a whole house filter. Works
pretty well. There is noticeably less dust collecting on furniture since
I've started using it.
