Thanks you two. This is the closet thing to a card I got. Mine forgot.
Hey ho.

Forgetting is forgiveable, imo. I was just talking about this with a
coworker whose daughter (in college) forgot Father's Day. My kid did
not want to call or send a card. Did not want is very different than
forgetting. Forgetting means that everything is okay, actually....

Thanks Vicky!

I had my best fathers day for years. In the morning after opening the most
adorable card I took Freddie off for his first ever competative hurling
match. I cheered him on from the touchline feeling very proud of both him
and myself. We got home to find my new woman friend had come and prepared
lunch and had also arranged a day at the races for me! We all had a great
time and I even made it home with my shirt still intact, but not for long!
Freddie went off to his mothers in the evening and I was then driven out for
dinner and a few pints. When we got back my shirt, as well as quite a few
other other items of clothing, strangly went missing ;-)

BTW Christine, its the one who has the paddle that does the tieing up ;-)

In mine too and he knows I don't think the day is a big deal anyway.

Agreed, that would be a worrying.

Forgetting means that everything is okay, actually....

Closest we get to "normality" around here, I'd say. :-))
