is water important for baby

my baby is 14 months old.he is breastfeeding and eating food.he is not
drinking water at all.is that fine or water is very important for him?

Not as long as he's getting plenty of breastmilk. Is it winter or summer
where you live? If it's summer, you might want to encourage him to drink
some water. But as long as he's producing plenty of wet diapers, he's
getting enough fluids.

If he is wetting enough diapers he is probably getting enough fluids
from breastmilk. I personally would encourage a 14 month old to drink
water though. Does he never drink from a cup? Doesn't he drink water
with his solid meals? He's never away from you? Just for a data
point for you to compare to both my boys were nursing a lot (many
times a night and 5-6 times a day) at 14 months, one ate lots of
solids, the other hardly any. Both were drinking water from a cup
quite well and with every solids meal.
