Bob,

In Virginia just writing in this newsgroup that you've carried a firearm
into DCSE (which is legal) apparently is a threat to Nathaniel J. Young,
Jr., Commissioner of DCSE, and makes him think he's got the authority to dso
so...he did it to me.

Perhaps Mr. Young needs something more serious than a threat. His
replacement might be more willing to talk equal rights for men.

Mr. Young will find out shortly that this type of action without statutory
authority constitutes a civil rights violation...the Attorney General's
Office issued an Opinion two years ago which states those with concealed
handgun permits may carry anywhere -- except where prohibited by statute.
They're going to have to defend him with that Opinion having been published.

Two years ago and he's still destroying families? The time for MEN to
take action to protect our families is long overdue. Maybe he needs to
have his rights violated permanently.

I would AGREE that Mr. Young needs to be removed from Office, but I think
that should be left up to the Governor of Virginia or the Secretary of
Heatth and Human Services -- not in the that you're implying.

I don't think that sort of implication is tolerated in NM, I'm sure the
implication isn't here in Virginia.

It would, perhaps, be prudent to refrain from making those types of
statements in our forum...we have enough problems with them taking actions
against us that have no semblence of constitutionality...you certainly
wouldn't want to give them a reason for going after you, would you?

The USA generally allows people to express their opinions on government
officials with little restriction. See the 1st amendment. I believe
that still includes Virginia.

Is this a moderated group? When you get to be net-cop let us know.

Taking action against you? Who is "they?" What action other than a
free speech discussion are you talking about?

I don't believe the first amendment allows one to freely advocate the
killing of judges of state officials by posting Bushmaster ads when you're
talking about them...I could be wrong but there are such laws about doing
that using the internet here in Virginia.

Nope. Personally I don't give a rat's ass if a cop ends up on your door for
your postings.
