The second midwife feels that if you've
had a few babies, posterior position isn't a concern.

That's reassuring--thanks!

A lot of babies will turn in labor, especially if they're
not too engaged. If the baby is still posterior when you go into
labor, don't let them rupture your membranes. That will make it
harder for her to turn. Try to stay mobile so you can continue
pelvic rocks and such in labor, as possible.

All that is part of the plan--and yet another reason to avoid induction!

If baby is engaged...do the knees/chest position for 20 minutes a
couple of times a day.

Anything special I need to know about this position, or is it literally
just lying on your front with knees up to chest? (I've got an OT,
engaged baby whom I'd like to try to turn a bit more OA if possible.)

All the best,

Sarah

Wow Leslie 12 lbs....that is a big baby.

Oh, just a tiny little thing. ;-) Seriously, I'm really curious to see

how
good of an estimate that turns out to be.

I am glad that your bp came down.
I wish I had some information for you on how to get her to turn.

Hang in there it is getting closer

Thanks. Obviously I KNOW she has to arrive sooner or later--I just wish

it
would be sooner!
