Default Exposing The Perverts; Protect Your Kids

Child safety experts say one in five children are contacted for sex while
online and that 70-percent of all convicted sex offenders use the Internet.
Authorities try to catch them, but are only getting a handful.

There is a group of Internet vigilantes are trying to fill that void. They've
set up their own network to publicly humiliate people who approach kids for
sex.

The site is called http://perverted-justice.com . It's workers go online posing
as children in Internet chat rooms to expose people who solicit kids for sex.
The site has exposed about 300 people in two years.

They post everything said in the chat room and try to get pictures of the
people they out. Then in a discussion forum visitors to the site take clues
from the chat session to try to identify the suspect.

Perverted Justice defends the tactics, saying cops are too busy to do the work.
But police and some saftey groups don't really endorse the idea. Partly because
Perverted Justice workers aren't trained professionals, and partly because of
the possibility that innocent people could be wrongly identified. But the
people behind Perverted Justice say they'll keep doing what they're doing
because they feel it's better than doing nothing.

Decide for yourself by checking out the site.

WARNING: Some words may not be suitable for minors and the discussions posted
contain frank sexual content due to the nature of the targeted suspects.
