Default Update (was Nipple pain: was Questions was Help - Breast inflammation (long!))

I finally contacted an LC this morning. I think she is the only one in
town, and wasn't that keen to see me. She said that based on my description
etc. it sounded as though I have a breast infection, and to go to the
doctor. Damn - that is what I have been trying top avoid. So off I go
tomorrow. I will get them to take a swab though, to check.

As a side note, DD coughed this morning after a feed off the affected
breast, and a bit of 'gunge' came up. She had just had a good feed, and the
breast does feel better now, so I wonder if there was a blockage, and that
was it?

So thanks for all the help -

Cathy
