Default My *9 week* update!

Oh my goodness, I can't believe I'm 9 weeks already. Seems like just
yesterday I had that snowmobile accident and didn't know I was pregnant yet.

Well, I had a really good appointment with the OB/GYN that I love. No exam,
basically just a consult to review all my testing, u/s, where I stand, etc.

First of all, he reviewed my ultrasound from last week and said he was
extremely pleased, so no u/s today.

More importantly, all my testing came back from the specialist and I don't
need heparin! Yea!!! I had a feeling I wouldn't, but I'm happy to have it
confirmed.

Also, he brought up my wishes to use the midwives and the birth center. He'd
like to see me until my 18 week ultrasound then after that he said I could
see the midwives for the rest of the pregnancy and there's no reason not to
use the birth center. Yippee! I have a good friend who *just* had a baby
there on Saturday and was very happy with her experience. I'm just so
relieved that this is going to be a normal, low-touch pregnancy after all.

We discussed my weight since I've been losing and not gaining and he said
it's not anything to worry about. Just try to make what I *can* eat count.

That's my update and I'm happy to report it.
