Default Fertility and BFing my toddler

I am feeding 13.5 month-old DD about 3 times a day and about three
months ago my period came back. Good news, because we are ready for
#2. I am not taking my morning temp. because I couldn't detect my
surge the first time after charting and had to rely on my trusty but $$
$$ urine tests. : ( I am counting the days in my cycle and it is
erratic. My first count was 34 days between periods and this last was
47 days. I've never been very regular, though.

Here's my question. We recently went on vacation and DD got a yeast
infection. All these disruptions have led me to increase her feedings
as I have noticed that she "asks" to be nursed more often. Is it
possible to have your period return and then disappear again due to
increased nursing?

Always grateful for your responses!!

Erin
