Sore breasts
Thanks for the suggestions, everyone - apologies for the delay in replying,
we've been away for the Easter weekend. I will definitely try alternating hot and cold, avoid soap etc. I've seen the gel breast pads, so I'll look out for them again. I'm sure it isn't mastitis :-) It is both breasts, and all over, plus I have no fever or flu-ey feelings. Thanks for the stories about how it feels to feed after a long break. Seems like it is painful for some, not so bad for others. There is a breast feeding workshop locally, run by the midwives, so I'll check it out. A refresher in latching & positioning may help to stop and problems before they start :-) I appreciate the advice and support :-) Donna |
