Default Mercury MOMS and DADS March on DC!!!!

Eleven National Orgs, 600+ Attendees to Come Together in DC for ‘Power of
Truth’

HUNDREDS WILL UNITE AT CAPITOL BUILDING JULY 20 TO PUSH FOR MERCURY
REMOVAL, AWARENESS, INDEPENDENT RESEARCH

RALEIGH, NC – Over 600 participants have registered for the ‘Power of
Truth’ rally in Washington DC set for July 20th. Attendees, along with 11
national organizations, will join at the west front grassy area in front
of the Capitol Building.

The event will mark the first comprehensive unified effort to push for the
removal of mercury from all medicinal products, including domestic
vaccines and those currently exported to third-world countries. Attendees
also hope the event will spread awareness of the evidence which supports a
link between mercury and neurodevelopmental disorders.

Organizers of the event say the goal is to not focus on vaccines, rather,
the ingredients in vaccines. “This is not a vaccine issue,” says Angela
Medlin (Raleigh, NC), co-founder of Moms Against Mercury. “This is an
issue of thousands of children being exposed to a poisonous substance used
within medical products.”

Many parents will meet with legislators during the event in hopes they
will support the removal of mercury, increased thimerosal research,
awareness of current confirming evidence that supports a link, as well as
to oppose legislation designed to protect drug companies from liability.

A partial list of speakers include:

- Zachary Barsamian, 5-year-old recovered child

- Congressman Dan Burton

- Amy Carson, Co-Founder, Moms Against Mercury

- Wendy Fournier, President, National Autism Association

- Boyd Haley, PhD

- David Kirby, Author of Evidence of Harm

- Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney

- Congresswoman Diane Watson

- Congressman Dave Weldon

About the event:

- A march will begin in front of the Holiday Inn Capitol, 550 C
Street S.W. at 8:30 am.

- The march will end on the West Front grassy area in front of
the Capitol Building

- At 9:30, a press conference and daylong rally will begin.

National Autism Association President Wendy Fournier (Portsmouth, RI) says
it’s time for the government to see how many affected families there are.
“We are not a small group, we are very large and very determined to
promote positive change for future generations. No matter what the
financial burden may be in removing the mercury, we as a society cannot
put a price-tag on the health and safety of our children.”

National organizations coordinating and/or supporting the event include
Moms Against Mercury, A-CHAMP, CoMeD, Dads Against Mercury, Educate Before
You Vaccinate, Generation Rescue, National Autism Association, NVIC,
NoMercury, SafeMinds, and Unlocking Autism.
