I hope you get better soon. My 4 month old must have the same thing. He is
so stuffy and isn't nursing well. Try Advil, it works better.

HI -

I feel retched. DS is sick and starting his 1st day of pre-pre-school

today.
DD (2 months) was coughing and sneezing all night ( and I feel like my
bones are melting and can't breath, all dizzy and weary...

Is there any type of cold-medicine I can take while breastfeeding? Like a
Robitussin (i'm in the US) or cold pills or something? I am about to take
Tylenol and hope that relieves some of the aches...ugh

Someone here will hopefully know...it takes too long to get a response fom
the LC I know since she works in a hospital and is busy, busy, busy!!

Thanks- *cough*sputter*wheeze*gasp*

Try a non-decongestant nasal spray...I know, the stuffy nose is the
worst, but decongestants could contribute to a milk supply issue. And
take a hot shower, hot as you can stand, before you go to bed. That
might help drain the nose some.

There's a cold going around, and I expect to get it in the next few
days. So if anyone else has any ideas, toss them out here so I can
start them now... :-).

Oh, and drink tea. Lots of hot tea. Breathe in the steam from it...
