I've read mixed reviews about when it's ok to start dairy such as yogurt,
cottage cheese, regular cheese. Not milk, I know not to start that until a
year. I've read that 9 months is ok if baby has no allergies, is this ok?

9 months is what I am familiar with as a guideline for those type of
foods too. I think I started giving Julie the Stonyfield Farms Yo-Baby
yogurt around then, then cheese after that. I never thought to do
cottage cheese because I just never have it in the house.

Cleaning the house while your children are small is like
shoveling the sidewalk while it's still snowing.

I find that recommendation weird but I've heard it many times so it must be
right :-) Hunter didn't ge any until he started solids at 10 months but I'm
sure I started Luke earlier. Probably around 7 or 8 months. He had a bit
of formula starting at 6.5 months and that was the cow kind not the bean
kind :-)

Most resources I've seem say that dairy products in moderation in a
non-alergic family can start from nine months including cows milk. They say
a year for cows milk because sometimes people replace breast or formula with
cows milk and until a baby is one they need the extras in BM or formula.

Izabellas pedi said I could start her on yogurt, cottage cheese at 9 months,
than at 10 months I could do whole milk and regular cheese!
And that is what we have done, mind you shes almost a year old and still
eats none of this stuff, I have given up trying,

Thanks everyone! I think I'll start my little piglet on some yogurt this week.
His appetite has been gradually increasing, and suddenly, the kid cant eat
enough! It's pretty fun to watch.
