Default Emancipation question when muliple states are involved

Hello,

Question I thought this group might be able to help me with.
I was divorced in North Carolina.
My X and my daughter moved to NY & I moved to MD.
My daughter is almost 18 and getting ready to graduate from High
School.
I have been paying Child Support since the divorce and I am looking at
when and how it will stop.
Does the state where the divorce and child support order was filed
(NC), the state my daughter currently lives (NY), or when I am living
now (MD) play a factor in the emancipation and end of Child Support?
Thanks...

Your underlying NC child support order controls your case. Emancipation in
NC is 18, unless enrolled full time high school - then 19, or married,
moved out, otherwise emancipated. Emancipation in MD is 18 period.
Emancipation in NY is 21, if enrolled in school full time. Make sure you
are not being charged interest on your NC order...
