Well, my computer basically exploded a while back. I haven't cared enough
to do something with it, so I've been using Norm's computer, and boy does
the keyboard suck! You have to hammer on the space bar, and even then, I
think I spend more time hitting 'backspace' than I do actually typing. The
'enter' key is wonky and puts in about a gazillion enters every now and
then, and every once in a while, the shift key sticks and I type in caps for
half a line before that lovely backspace key comes into play - a lot.

I've been fairly busy lately... The weekend was packed. Saturday B had a
dance performance. I took M with me and left A at home with N. He
basically refused to go, but I thought it was alright because he had
promised to do the dishes and clean up the living room. I did give him the
benefit of the doubt and thought maybe he would while I was gone. HA. He
really didn't do much in the hour or so I said I would be gone and was gone.
I came home to the same disaster that I left. He justified it with, "But I
cleaned up the huge mess A made during lunch!" and I congratulated him, gave
him an E for effort and then reminded him I do that, as well as all the
dishes and pick up the toys twice in that same amount of time. This was, of
course, only shortly after he made note that my day is like a walk in the
park and fairly easy. Riiiight...

I went to Walmart Saturday evening and picked up those storage cart
things... One wide with 3 drawers, one skinner with 3 drawers and one wide
with 2 big drawers and 2 small drawers. I sorted all the toys in the
basement and put them in the drawers according to what they were. (Cars in
one drawer, Legos in another and so on) I have 2 drawers left empty and
those will fill up with whatever I figure can go in them. I figured the 3
carts full of toys is more than enough for a 6 year old to play with, manage
and put away. I hope, anyways. I cleaned up the basement, for the most
part. I did almost all the laundry, again, and I just have a few baskets
yet to put away. Clean and folded, just need to put it in their homes.

Today we went to City Hall for B's dance school's pictures. THAT was a
bloody gong show. Let's not go there. After that, we went to my mom's for
dinner. Was fantastic.

Wednesday is B's 6th birthday. Family is coming over for dinner at 6 on
that day, and I've decided I will keep it simple and keep my sanity by
making tacos. I figured that's easy enough - I can prepare everything
during the day and keep it in the fridge, then cook up the ground beef 15 or
so minutes before we're supposed to eat.

Tomorrow morning I have to get B off to the bus for 8am as usual, then N and
I have a meeting downtown with the lawyer about that car accident almost 1
year ago. Boy, time flies. The laywer wants to meet with both of us
together, as N's the one signing for both Bran and Amie. Keeps it simple.
If it turns out the kids need to turn around and sue me (or my insurance,
not me personally) then it could turn into a huge headache if I am signing
for them, as, I guess, it's not really a good thing for me to sign to be
sued, or something. We have to be downtown at 9am, so we have to get the
girls ready early and be downtown for this meeting while B's at school.

I won't get much done in the morning, but I plan to put the laundry away
that's clean and folded, vacuum the carpet and floor in B's room, put the
toys and stuff away in A's room and tackle the bathroom from top to bottom
all after lunch some time tomorrow, and this is all on top of the daily
chores and things I do already.

We have B's birthday party for his school and neighbourhood friends on
Saturday the 3d. Really not looking forward to that! Here's to hoping it
won't be as bad as I'm thinking it will be! LOL

And that's about it, for now. I'm around, sorta, just been busy and it sure
seemed to be fairly dead around here lately, so I just didn't really bother

A bit longer...computer blewup 3 or 4 times already. Actually it got
infected while I was backing up clients data to it. Rebuilt it 3 or 4
times. Just got a chance to install a news reader so I can read again.
