OT - Fire at my parent's house

You may have seen my note about my parent's home burning down. I just
returned from an emergency trip to MO - And it's awful. Here's a

The aftermath photos that I took are FAR worse. These photos were
taken prior to the fire burning itself out. Sigh...it could have been
far worse. A surprisingly large amount of stuff has been salvaged.
But a lot has been lost.

My god I am so so sorry to hear this, how is parents doing now? And your
brother! Geesh I do no tknow what to say. It must be very hard to have to
go through something like this.
Wishing them all the best and glad to hear that they are safe.

I'm so sorry. We lost our newly-renovated family business factory/office
building in a big fire last year and it was truly awful. Still, I imagine
the feeling of loss associated with a home fire must be so much worse...
