Default Starving!

I was worried earlier that I wouldn't gain enough weight. After the 3 months
of nausea passed, then I had a period of "anoerexia", I just did NOT want to
eat, never felt hungry. My weight gain has been PERFECT my midwife said, but
I was still concerned the baby would be scrawny because I wasnt eating.
Well, I guess I dont have to worry about THAT anymore. I am STARVING. I
mean, I am hungry all the time. I guess when the baby hormones kick in and
say "Time to Eat", the body obeys. I guess now I will be the sterotypical
pregnant woman, eating non stop,lol.
I bought a bunch of soy nuts, sunflower seeds and pistachios, since I still
cant make myself eat much meat. I bet that gives me killer gas though, but
at least I will get protein.
GOD I AM HUNGRY!!
Off to eat AGAIN.

No probs losing the weight, I started my baby on formula which he vomited

Well done - it can be very hard to break old habits!

Thanks! I am a lot happier now too.
I comfort ate when I was ill, eating only feel good foods like chocolate but
starving myself of anything nutritional, I was depressed, and my stomach
shrunk so small that it took a while to stretch it back out.

I have days like these - and then I have days when I am not hungry at all
(today has been one of those days, although during the weekend I was hungry
a lot) - in my case it depends a lot of the weather condition - when it's
hot and humid like it is today over here (Italy), I don't feel hungry, I
just want to drink water all the time!!

I forgot to say, congrats on making healthy food choices (i.e. soy nuts,
sunflower seeds and pistacchios). How are you regarding cheese? Cottage
cheese can be a wonderful snack and provide a lot of protein, too!

That's why I don't have any ice cream in the freezer - when I want some, DH
& I go for a walk and 1-2 scoops of ice cream.
Actually, we are just on our way to the nearest gelateria (home-made ice
cream shop) ;-)

I do n ot like cheese, though I did have a few grilled cheese sandwiches. I
can eat it that way, but thats about it. I have to vary it because the seeds
and nuts really upset my stomach if I over do it. Theres always a catch
