She even on the occasion gets junk food. AND we have weight issues in our family. |

Combine that with a more sedentary lifestyle for some children, eventually more calories go in than come out, and they have to go somewhere. I remember how small school lunch portions were compared what I had to eat at home. I ate a lot, but with my running around a lot, I didn't gain any extra weight. GI tract quirks combined with activity levels keeps my weight quite stable over the years. -- Curtis R.
