Millions of 'christians' living in adultery
Warning to those getting or being divorced.
If your first spouse is still alive after divorce, and you remarry, Jesus/Scripture states you are living in the sin of adultery. "For the married woman is bound by law to her husband while he is living; but if her husband dies, she is released from the law concerning the husband. 3 So then if, while her husband is living, she is joined to another man, she shall be called an adulteress; but if her husband dies, she is free from the law, so that she is not an adulteress, though she is joined to another man." Romans 7:2-3 (NASB) "The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord." 1 Cor 7:39 (KJV) Many millions of Chirstians are now living in adultery in opposition to Christ's declared Words. "And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: AND WHOSO marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery." Matt 19:9 (KJV) " And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. 12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery." Mark 10:11-12 (KJV) Marriage is not to be sundered either by man or women. Death only brings release to marry again. Such of you are therefore living in the sin of adultery and will not be able to enter the Kingdom of God. "Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God." 1 Cor 6:9-10 |

God Hates Divorce wrote in message .. .. Warning to those getting or being divorced. If your first spouse is still alive after divorce, and you remarry, Jesus/Scripture states you are living in the sin of adultery. So what happened to Joseph's first wife before he married Mary? "Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God." 1 Cor 6:9-10 Well I think that just about eliminates most of the population of the world. Who would want to go there anyway? it must be somewhat boring. Dennis |
