How long after...??
How long after you have a baby do you normally stop bleeding? I had
an elective c-section 9 almost 10 days ago and my bleeding pretty much abruptly stopped today,,just wondering if this was normal. TIA Tara |

I had an elective c-section 9 almost 10 days ago and my bleeding pretty much abruptly stopped today,,just wondering if this was normal. Well, after my 4th baby, I more or less stopped bleeding *heavily* within 3-4 days. But I continued bleeding ever so lightly (but enough to need a liner) for something like 8-10 weeks. By this point I'm convinced *anything* that isn't huge clots and extended heavy bleeding, is normal. --angela |

TIA Tara I've had 3 c-sections and I've always stopped around 4 to 6 weeks but I go back on the pill usually at a month post-partum. It may come back if you become more active, too active, your body will tell you to slow down. |

My bleeding stopped pretty quickly as well, following a normal birth but unfortunately a managed third stage. It was pretty light by 7 days and all but gone by 10 days.
