The U.S. House of Representatives is expected to cast their last and
final vote on Wednesday, February 1 on the budget reconciliation
bill that cuts nearly $600 million in federal foster care
assistance.

ACTION REQUIRED:

*Call your U.S. Representative now. You can call toll free at 800-
426-8073 or you can call the U.S. Capitol switchboard at 202-225-
3121 and ask to be connected to the office of your U.S.
Representative. If you are not sure who your U.S. Representative is,
they can tell you. You can also find the direct line of your U.S.
Representative at www.house.gov. To see how your U.S. Representative
voted on December 19, go to
http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2005/roll670.xml.

MESSAGE:

* Vote NO on the Budget Reconciliation bill!
Defend your civil liberties! Get information at http://www.aclu.org, become a member at http://www.aclu.org/join and get active at http://www.aclu.org/action.
We cannot defend freedom abroad by deserting it at home.
