Default Easter Eurodisney (or Butlins)

Phew thanks! Will give these some serious thought. I think we could all do
with a break at the moment away from things as Christmas was such a *&^&(
time. Really appreciate you taking the time to let me know about these
places.

Like the eurodisney idea very much but youngest only three and think too
young for eurodisney, what are others opinion?

I agree, I think at 3 it will be more work than anything else as you will

be
riding herd on a bunch of wild young kids rather than holidaying, they

won't
all be able to go on the same rides and they will not get the best of it

(I
think) till a couple of years later. Now that I know the age of one of

your
kids (see my earlier reply to your holiday post) it gives me one possible
idea. OK, its not that exotic, its not that exciting a destination but

just
near where I live, along the Purley Way there is a complex with

restaurants,
a bowling alley, a pub, Pizza Hut, Wacky Warehouse (a kids indoor, safe

play
area with food and stuff just above the Gypsy Moth pub). Well, the

advantage
is that from one of the hotels right in this complex you can walk to the
Wacky Warehouse (they are next door), the Pizza Hut, take a bus into

Croydon
and take the kids to Playtown (another similar venue), take the kids

bowling
(apart from the 3 year old but my 4 going on 5 loves it!) and there are
several outdoor playgrounds and woods around. There are also some people

in
the area that I can personally recommend and vouch for if you wanted to
leave the kids with someone for a bit and take some recharge time out
yourself. OK, its not the worlds wildest holiday destination (Purley) but

it
has some advantages in things for the kids.

Another thought, how about going and booking into a hotel near LegoLand?
LegoLand is brilliant and its focussed very much on kids from 3 to about

10
and no more, I have not seen any wild screaming teenagers there. Also
someone once mentioned to me somewhere in Southhampton they like for

similar
reasons which is apparently even less crowded most of the time

Mind you we have something similiar opened up here in Castleford W Yorks.
Its called 'Xscape' and is a ski slope, bowling complex, cinema, restaurants
etc and we have a monkey maze nearby too. My three year old had her third
birthday in there last week and loved it.
