Default Need Advice!!!!

based on MY experience with va dcse if you can provide proof you are
supporting your other child you WILL RECEIVE credit. A couple of examples
are a copy of a court order and proof you are paying such as cancelled
checks, a notarized letter from the party receiving the support for your
child from you could possibly work also. if these do not work ask your
local child support office what they require for proof. also when dcse
figures the calculations for the amount of support you owe they include
the cost of healthcare coverage for the child that is being paid in the
overall support due to the child then based on your income and mom's
imcome they figure what your percentage is that you owe and that is where
the monthly amount of support comes from that is to be paid by you, if you
were the one paying the support they would give that credit to you at the
end and subtract it from your monthly amount. that is how you pay her
back for part of the healthcare premium costs. it is already figured in
the monthly obligation if the custodial parent is providing the coverage.
also it is my understanding that if you are not PAYING support for your
other children you will not receive credit, but only if your NOT PAYING
would that be the issue. hope this has helped you.
