hmmmm....

First of all lets get off this father/mother role issue.. there are FATHERS
that do have custody out here ya know.. I am one of them.

Lets see anyone know what a metaphore is?

One who has good credit pays his bills on time...

What I am saying is that the responsible PERSON that visits the children /
Pays support "generally" will make more of a good faith effort to do the
other!

out of the people I know that tell me that the custodial (mother in most
cases) wont allow them to see the children 99% of them still pay the support
on time.

Its been my experience that Normally someone that does NOT pay support on
time doesnt pay his creditors as he/she should either, so its not JUST a
matter of getting them to pay child support on time but rather the fact they
dont pay any of their bills on time or at all.

I 100% agree, and all debt collectors realize it's pointless to harass this
type of payer as it doesn't get them their money any sooner. They also cut
their loses and take lesser sum to write ths debt off!

It's been "your experience?" How is it that you're privy to the "normal"
person's
financial information? I can tell you that we paid our bills on time until
the CS order
was doubled after we had two young children. Went from $600 to 1200 a month.
We almost lost our house. Curiously,
the CP got evicted from her apt and had her car repoed even though she had
48k a
year in NET income and ours was less than half that after CS was paid. Heh,
the kids came of age many years
ago. We still have our house and she still has nothing. Go figure.

CHILD SUPPORT STATISTICS:

The U.S. Census Bureau has reported that fathers with joint custody pay
90.2% of all child support ordered; fathers with limited visitation rights
pay 79.1%; and 44.5% of those fathers with NO visitation rights still
financially support their children.

30% of custodial mothers not receiving child support have never asked for or
do not want child support.

25% of custodial mothers do not receive child support because the father is
unable to pay.

20 % of custodial mothers not receiving child support have made other
financial arrangements with the father.

11% of custodial mothers not receiving child support do not have a child
support order.

Of ten million custodial mothers ONLY 7% (one out of fourteen) do not
receive child support because of a deadbeat dad.
