Since the death of our 14-year-old son Matthew caused from the use of
Ritalin prescribed for ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) our
family has been informing others world wide via the internet about ADHD
and the dangers of psychotropic drugs in memory of our son and countless
other children that have died over the years as a direct result of using
psychotropic drugs.



Between 1990 and 2000 there were 186 deaths from methylphenidate reported
to the FDA MedWatch program, a voluntary reporting scheme, the numbers of
which represent no more than 10 to 20% of the actual incidence.

Other than the *opinion* of the medical examiner, who was out of the
media spotlight since the jailing of Jack-The-Dripper Kevorkian, there
is no proof that this child died as is alleged. Further, the boy had had
a serious fall, with chest impact, while skateboarding, shortly before
his death.

As for the 18.6 deaths per year, many of them were multiple drug
abusers, not prescription followers.

Baughman was one of the doctors who were involved in the five ritalin
lawsuits that were either dismiss as being full of crap, or withdrawn by
the attorneys as they woke up and found that they had been misled.

When someone cuts a normal, useful part off a helpless baby, in the name
