Default rash - roseola?

I'd call the ped. A roseola or fifth's disease rash isn't itchy.

Ahh I didn't know it didn't itch.

I'm going to save calling the pediatrician to see if it goes away on its
own. Everything I've read says this is not the type of rash to worry about.
It seems to be fading on its own.

Thanks.

It doesn't look like slapped-cheeks or the pictures of that rash on that
site.

I gave him a bath in some aveeno oatmeal bath stuff. Hope it helps with
the itching. Kind of hard to tell with a 4 month old who can't tell you
he's itching

If it is an allergic reaction, which seems likely at this point, the aveeno
isn't a fabulous idea, despite their claims that their products are
hypoallergenic, they really aren't according to my dermatologist.

No other symptoms of illness other than a day of crankiness followed by the
rash. It's clearing up now. You can still feel it but the redness is all
gone.

Thanks
