hi, at what age do we transfer child to a booster instead of car seat.

It actually depends more on the height and weight of you're child and the

We replaced a couple of our car seats with booster/car seats last
February. These seats are for children 20 pounds and up using the 5 point harness. The seat can be used as a belt positioning booster at 30 pounds and up. We just started using the belt positioning option with our 4 1/2 year old. Preschool is starting in the fall and we need to be able to move her carseat more easily. She is 35 pounds and 39 inches tall. We used the transition to a big seat belt as a motivator for acting like a big girl around the house. Karen
