PREGNANT WOMEN: Please forward this post to your chiropractors.

My goal is to PREVENT senseless spinal manipulation of babies by MDs. MDs
are closing birth canals and pushing and pulling on babies' spines -
sometimes fatally so. See below.

Ladies, it is easy to OPEN your birth canal an "extra" up to 30% - just roll
onto your side - but be forwarned - MDs sometimes roll women back to
semisitting or dorsal (close their birth canals!) for the actual birth...

This can KILL as the MD engages in vacuum-assisted spinal manipulation to
pull the baby out - with the birth canal senselessly closed. See USUAL
MECHANISM below...

NOTE: I am NOT opposed to vacuum extractors - or forceps - or pulling with
hands - AS LONG AS THE MOTHER IS NOT ON HER BUTT/BACK CLOSING HER BIRTH
CANAL.


CHIRO CRIME...

There is chiro crime/quackery being committed by DCs - but the chiro crime
is **VIRTUE** relative to ongoing MD spinal manipulation quackery...

AMA members were the most prolific spinal manipulation quacks in America
when AMA's 1971 quackery memo (see below) was written.

Pregnant women and babies are their primary targets - and gruesome spinal

1971 AMA QUACKERY MEMO

Since the AMA Board of Trustees' decision, at it's meeting on November 2-3,
1963, to establish a Committee on Quackery, your Committee has considered
it's prime mission to be, first, the containment of chiropractic and,
ultimately, the elimination of chiropractic.
Your Committee believes it is well along in its first mission and is, at the
same time, moving toward the ultimate goal. This, then, might be considered
a progress report on the developements in the past seven years. The
Committee has not previously submitted such report because it believes that
to make public some of its activities would have been and contiues to be
unwise. Thus, this report is intended only for the information of the Board
of Trustees...

MD QUACK FACTS...

AMA's own MD-obstetricians are slashing vaginas en masse ("routine
episiotomy") surgically/fraudulently inferring they are doing everything
possible to OPEN birth canals - even as they CLOSE birth canals - up to 30%.

AMA's own MD-obstetricians are closing birth canals GRUESOMELY (sometimes
fatally) manipulating (pushing and pulling on) most babies' spines.

AMA's own MD-obstetricians are contributing to the killing of an estimated
six babies per DAY with vacuum-assisted spinal manipulation alone - with
birth canals senselessly closed up to 30%...

THE SOLUTION...

MD-obstetricians: If you must push or pull - and sometimes you must - first
get women off their butts/backs - off their sacra...

MD-obstetricians changed Williams Obstetrics at my request. They included
in their text the correct at-term pelvic biomechanics as I asked - BUT -
they left in their text the "dorsal widens" bald lie that first called my
attention to their text...

CHIRO CRIME...

"Quackbuster" Stephen Barrett, MD notes that someone tried to "sabotage"
chiropractic by getting Congress to mandate radiation of all Medicare
chiropractic patients prior to receiving chiropractic adjustments.

"Quackbuster" Barrett's SOMEONE - I think it was AMA but I have no proof -
knew that chiropractors could not demonstrate subluxation on x-ray - and -
over the objections of chiropractors persuaded Congress to make
reimbursement for spinal manipulation contingent on the chiropractor
swearing (signing the Medicare bill) indicating that s/he had demonstrated a
correctable vertebral subluxation on x-ray.

There was NO scientific evidence that vertebral subluxations exist and cause
disease and stop causing disease when adjusted!

There is STILL no scientific evidence!

A few DCs (Rondberg et al.) are trying to persuade Congress to pass
*another* law which infers that vertebral subluxations exist and cause
disease and stop causing disease when adjusted.

BOTTOMLINE...

The spectacle of MDs committing obvious gruesome (sometimes fatal) spinal
manipulation crime does not excuse the ongoing Medicare chiro crime...

But the ongoing chiro crime is VIRTUE compared to MD-obstetricians closing
birth canals and gruesomely (sometimes fatally) manipulating most babies'
spines at birth.

WHY are MD-"quackbusters" attacking CHIROPRACTIC spinal manipulation and
IGNORING the gruesome spinal manipulation of their fellow MDs/obstetricians?



DELICATE ADJUSTMENTS FOR BABIES...

Some of the most miraculous results have followed DELICATE chiropractic
spinal adjustment of babies by DCs (and some MDs)...

Unfortunately, miraculous spinal adjusting results are anecdotes - not
scientific evidence.

NOTE: Being a DC myself, I would LOVE to learn that there is now scientific
evidence that vertebral subluxations exist and cause disease and stop
causing disease when adjusted.

BTW, I am unlicensed by choice - but I get adjusted myself and I agree with
any DC who recommends chiropractic adjustments - ESPECIALLY CHIROPRACTIC
ADJUSTMENTS FOR BABIES FOLLOWING DIFFICULT BIRTHS.
