Default How much are you guys paying for Child Support?

"Deidre and Peter McLennan" wrote in message ...
Income $105K p.a (Aus Dollars so $73.5K US dollars p.a)
2 Children
1 Child in my care the exact amount of time the other boy is in her care.

100% EQUAL shared care of two children 12 and 14.

I pay the B!tch:

$214 Per week. ($149 US per week)

Australia the place for far fetched lifestyle Child Support payments

I also have 2 Children under 4yrs
She has two other children to two different fathers. IE three fathers 4
children.

My mortgage has gone backwards at almost exactly the same amount as child
support I pay each year.

Solution:

Smart cards that only work at selected super markets and clothing stores.
CS goes into the account and any surplus after the child turns 18 is turned
over for the child.

Otherwise:
Calculate how much it costs to raise a child in a given location, and then
split that cost in two because BOTH parents have the financial
responsibility to raise the child.

Long term professional pensioners should NOT be given a free ride and MUST
find work of at least 3 hours per day once the child turns 6. Once the child
is 10 they must seek 6 hours per day, and when the child is 13 the mother
must be working 7.5 or normal hours per day. If they cant find work, they
are no longer a pensioner, but a job seeker with all the penalties if they
are NOT seeking work.

My EX is a professional pensioner, and to her credit knows how to save
money. She has been paying off her mortgage at a very fast rate. However
the children do NOT see any of the CS I am paying. Once the house is paid
off she will start to save for a more expensive car.

I know that once the children turn 18, they will be kicked out of her house
and they will come to live with me. Simply because they will no longer
provide an income for her.

I wonder how many women can actually live with themselves.

Peter

In England,I have not paid a penny in child support but i have paid
in the price of the loss of ever seeing my children.

Default POLL: How much are you guys paying for Child Support?

$1,196/month. One 6 year old child. California.
Most of it not spent on the child (of course).
