Yes...what is your question? The article say 18months so I'll go with
that.

Prime age for self induced injuries.

It's not prime, but it's right up there. Prime means singular.

A kid near here was killed by pulling a
TV down on top of self only months ago.

No doubt.

How was this not consistent with accident?

Greg, "... No charges have been filed at this time."

That was not discussed. I have a hunch that has to do with the DA
working on the indictment. Don't you?

And not prejudicing the public at this early point in the proceedings.

Are TV's bolted to wall in EVERY Foster Contractor home?

A good certifier looks at such things and orders safety
measures...such as bolting, or placing where it can't be pulled over
easily.

Pool gates. Gun lockers. Covered electrical outlets with toddlers.
Resetting the hot water thermostat to a lower non scalding setting.
Removing or storing safely buckets and other containers a toddler
could tip himself into. Even large dog water dishes are a target of a
good inspection.

Frayed electrical cords. Stove bolted down at the back feet or into
the wall. Shall I go on ...

I told you long ago that rather than continue to make a thorough ass
of ourself on matters of foster care and certification to the CPS
office and ask for the manual on requirements.

Heck, it might even be on line.

As for your english comprehension problems...the claims by them that
it was an accident ... well, read for ourself, for what should be, THE
SECOND PUCKERING TIME;

"Autopsy results show Landon Richard had multiple skull fractures and
a broken femur, which police said are not consistent with the story
originally given to deputies and detectives who responded to the
scene."

What does that mean to you, "not consistent with the story
originally given?"

How was it not consistent?
That IS what I asked.
If the kid pulled a TV over on themself, it would seem to be
perfectly consistent.

How did the adults say the accident happened, Greg?

What DID they say, Dan? That would be important wouldn't it?

What they said was inconsistant with the injuries.

And the death was ruled a homicide.

Yet you, with your lack of training or expertise in this area, have
decided the death wasn't a homicide.

Aren't most head fractures multiple?

Look up depressed skull fracture.

Isn't a depressed fracture also a "multiple fracture"?

More than one neat crack?

See above.

One TV falling over on an 18 month old one time would
cause MULTIPLE skull fractures wouldn't it?

Post what you find, Greg

You jumped on "multiple fractures" when you should know
that doesn't indicate guilt.

Ruled homicide?

Sometimes that doesn't mean squat.
Perhaps if the ME wasn't IMMUNE for glaring errors it might mean more.
The idiot in Cedar Rapids that made a STUPID ruling like that
and caused grieving parents to be harassed needlessly
couldn't be sued because he was IMMUNE.

How do I know the Medical Examiner that ruled this
one a homicide isn't the same sort of Jackass?

And among your stories of wonder haven't you run
across some bone problems wrongly painted to
be homicide, Dan?

I seem to recall something like that...

Caseworkers used to groove on the words "spiral fracture".
How many still think ABUSE when they hear those words?
