Default Amounts of allergen (shrimp)?

Which of the following is more likely to cause a reaction (hot, red face rash)?

1. Mom eats *a lot* of cocktail shrimp and breastfeeds baby.

2. Baby eats rice from a stir fry that had shrimp tossed in.

DS had a face rash some time ago. It seemed to coincide with my eating a
boatload of shrimp the previous day, but unsure. I've been avoiding shrimp
since that incident. However, he recently had the rice from a stir fry
containing shrimp. No reaction. Is that not enough of an allergen to cause a
reaction or is he not allergic?

Thoughts? Thanks

My guess would be that if he didn't react to the stir-fry containing
shrimp (even though he only ate the rice part) that he probably doesn't
have a shrimp allergy.

Do check with your ped, though.

He reacted to something other than shrimp.
