Default Meet You at the Legislature

They were the Acts surrounding Family Court which were first to demonstrate
to me a large and significant injustice taking place. Twelve years later the
collective Acts include legislation outside of Family Court matters such as
employment.

The areas in which legislation has a negative and direct effect on my
economic well being is greater than what I may be aware until I experience
it. I have to trust my legislators to act in my best interest while they
meet the needs of others' interests. Twelve years has demonstrated my trust
was misplaced. It has also demonstrated I am not alone in experiencing
similar hardship as a direct result of flawed and perhaps questionable
legislation.

To the extent that organization offers a possible correction and the extent
that it is possible to mobilize those most affected, an effective collective
action may be one that centers on legislation and ultimately the legislature
itself. The counter to unfair legislation is legislative amendment and there
are at least a few that come to mind.

To the best of my knowledge, we're not supposed to be operating in a direct
democracy but if that's what is necessary to protect the interests of the
silent majority, then direct democracy it is and amendments there will be.

Yes, who gave the government permission to totally ignore the rights of
NCP's in order to serve the rights of CP's?
