diaper rash
Hello!
I am new to this group. I wanted to share a recent problem. my baby girl of 4 months developed horrible diaper rash and I tried everything and I mean everything and nothing worked. Nothing at all. It was so frustrating see my little girl suffer. Then my friend in Ohio who is a pharmacist told me to try pinxav which I never heard of. I looked in every store in Jefferson county and no luck. But I found it on line at www.pinxav.com and bought a jar. I was amazed when after just one coating it worked. Amazing. I applied it at night and the next morning the rash had completely healed. I went back online and ordered 3 more jars. I never want to be without a jar of this stuff. I keep one in my diaper bag and one near the tub for after bathing and also one near the changing table. If anyone else is having trouble with diaper rash, send me an email and I'd be glad to give you tips on how to fight it. I've learned a lot over the last several months. For example, diaper rash should not go untreated. Not only does it make your baby miserable and grumpy, but it could get infected. Anyway, I'm so happy to have found this amazing group. Hello to all! Welcome Diane! Glad you found something that works! My daughter has had
that problem off and on as well in the past few months and we had to experiment a bit to find something as well. Kat mama to Maggie 11/03/01 and #2 EDD 02/01/04 "Diane" wrote in message om... Hello! I agree that this looks like spam...
But I'm chiming in with my two cents on what really worked on the diaper rash my DS had after a round of antibiotics. The nurse said to mix equal portions of A&D ointment, a zinc oxide cream (they gave me one with menthol called Calmoseptine) and Nystatin (a prescription anti-yeast diaper rash cream). Apply liberally and then cover with a powder (no talc though. They game me one called StomaSpray that ostomy patients use). The ointment heals and protects, and the powder keeps it from rubbing off on the diaper or dissolving when the poop hits it. It worked like magic in just a few days. And this diaper rash was REALLY bad. Hope this helps for someone! Robin DS John, five weeks old |

Same reason that I wrote to Mona. A complete stranger comes in, advises
about some product, includes a link, and signs off. Sounds like a sales pitch to many of us. Rather than that, why don't you (and Mona) post an intro, read for a while, get to know us, and post so that we can get to know you. Then, if you'd started a thread about "Favorite Diaper Rash Remedies", we'd all have joined in without a problem. That's my take on the matter. I got this from the website where I bought my nappies and it seems to have done the job very well for us, plus it has the bonus of smelling really nice. Camomile and honey tea. Get a box of camomile and honey tea bags and make up a mug of the tea. Let it cool. Use it to wash the bottom when you change nappies. If you're using cotton, wring out a muslin or liner in the tea (so it's just damp, not wet) and put that in the nappy overnight. And plenty of bare-bum time, too - YoungBloke loves bare-bum time! |

Well, I apologize, I'm new to these message boards. Not exactly
familiar with the etiquette. Here it goes. Hello, my name is Diane. I'm a new mother. Hello to all. I'd like to learn about different advice, suggestions, tips that you all have. Is there a guide book on how to use this board or something that would help me learn more so I don't make any more mistakes? Diane "Jamie Clark" wrote in message hlink.net...
