Update on potty training at night
Just wanted to thank you all for your thoughts a few weeks ago. With Jessica
having accidents at night about 50% of the time, I decided to put her back in pull ups for a little while. I told her that she could wear pull ups (as opposed to diapers-she likes pull ups, but they give her a rash when they get wet) if she tried to keep them try, so that she didn't get a rash. And that if she kept them dry for 3 nights, she could go back to big girl undies. Well, she kept them dry for 3 nights right away! We actually ended up going 5 nights, though, because I was working night shift and didn't want to put added stress on hubby if she had an accident (Christopher not sleeping through night yet and still bfding). So, it's been over a week now back in big girl undies at night, and only one accident! Yaay! She's definitely ready this time. I think she just needed a little extra incentive and a little time to realize she was ready! laurie mommy to Jessica, 2.5 years and Christopher, 8 months |
